Will Always Be Someone Better And It Might Just Be Me
“There will always be someone who is better.”
We’ve all heard that one, right? A humbling reminder to stay grounded, stay learning, stay in our lane.
But here’s the twist:
That person might just be… me.
Not because I’m chasing perfection.
Not because I think I’ve arrived.
But because every day, I’m working on being better than the version of me from yesterday.
I’m not in competition with the world.
I’m in competition with who I used to be.
The me who hesitated.
The me who second-guessed.
The me who played small when I should’ve stepped up.
So yes—there will always be someone better.
Smarter. Faster. More experienced.
But when it comes to my journey,
I am that someone.
I’m the one pushing forward, learning, falling, getting back up.
And if you’re doing the same?
Then you are too.
Better isn’t out there.
Better is becoming.
