The Cost of Choice

Every choice leaves a trail.

Some are tiny  invisible even  until one day, they ripple back into view. Others arrive loud and fast, changing everything in an instant.

I’ve made both kinds.

Some decisions brought growth. Others brought regret. Most brought both.

And through it all, I’ve learned that consequences aren’t just punishments or rewards. They’re teachers. They show us who we are when things don’t go as planned. They reveal what we value most, especially when something is lost.

So yes  decisions have consequences.
This I know well.
And still, I keep choosing.
Because every decision is a chance to live more fully, more honestly, and more aligned.

Even when the outcome is uncertain…
It’s still mine to make.
