Trusting the Path I Can’t See Yet
There’s a strange kind of magic in not knowing.
Not knowing what the next step is.
Not knowing how things will turn out.
Not knowing where exactly you’re headed.
And yet still moving.
For a long time, I thought clarity had to come before action. That I needed the plan, the map, the “5-year vision” all neatly sketched out before I could begin. I waited for certainty like it was a sign from the universe saying, “Okay, now you’re allowed to start.”
But here’s what I’ve learned: sometimes, clarity comes after the first brave step. Sometimes, the only way to figure it out… is to keep going.
The beauty of the in-between
Right now, I’m somewhere in between what was and what’s next.
I’m not exactly sure what the destination looks like but I’ve got a compass made of curiosity, a backpack full of lessons, and a growing trust in my ability to figure things out along the way.
And honestly?
That’s more exciting than terrifying.
Because this in-between space the one filled with possibilities, detours, unexpected turns, and surprising moments of grace is where some of the best stories begin.
Letting go of the pressure to "have it all figured out"
If you’re reading this and feeling a little lost too, here’s a gentle reminder:
You don’t need to have all the answers right now.
You’re allowed to explore.
You’re allowed to pivot.
You’re allowed to change your mind again and again.
And no, that doesn’t mean you’re flaky or unfocused. It means you’re alive. It means you’re paying attention. It means you’re willing to grow.
Forward is a direction
The truth is, we don’t always need a full roadmap. Sometimes all we need is the courage to take the next right step even if we’re not sure where it’ll lead.
So here I am, walking with open eyes and an open heart, trusting that the path will unfold with each step I take.
Not sure where I’m going.
Can’t wait to find out.
And maybe… that’s the most honest kind of adventure there is.
