Every mistake is a lesson
The panic. The self-talk. The spiral.
"Why did I do that?"
"Why wasn't I better?"
"Why can't I get it right the first time?"
But slowly with time, with distance I’ve started to see mistakes differently.
Now, when I mess up, I ask:
What is this teaching me?
Not everything needs to be perfect.
Sometimes, things need to fall apart just enough for you to pay attention.
You miss the deadline? You learn time boundaries.
You hurt someone? You learn to listen better.
You fail? You learn how to stand up without shame.
None of it feels fun in the moment.
But none of it is wasted.
Mistakes aren’t flaws in your story.
They are the story.
The pivot points.
The plot twists.
The moments that shape you more than success ever could.
Every mistake is a lesson.
And every lesson is proof that you’re still growing.
Still trying.
Still human.
And that’s more than enough.
