I'm Just an Ordinary Girl
I’m not famous.
Not viral.
Not a genius or a prodigy.
I’m just… me.
An ordinary girl who overthinks texts and forgets to drink water.
Who finds magic in playlists and comfort in rainy days.
Who sometimes wants to be seen but not too much.
I scroll through highlight reels of people doing impossible things.
Building companies. Winning awards. Changing the world.
And I wonder, “Am I enough?”
Because I’m not always brave.
I’m not always strong.
And sometimes, I’m scared that being “ordinary” means I’ll get left behind.
But then I remember:
Ordinary isn’t boring.
Ordinary means I’m real.
It means I can be soft and sharp.
Gentle and driven.
Messy and meaningful all at once.
I still try. I still show up. I still care deeply about the people I love and the dreams I haven’t given up on.
And maybe, just maybe, being an ordinary girl is its own kind of magic.
Because the world doesn’t always need heroes.
Sometimes, it just needs someone who’s real.
Someone who listens.
Someone who stays.
So if you’re just an ordinary girl too
That’s not something to hide.
It’s something to be proud of.
