Shield First, Shine Later
I’m not here for the spotlight.
I don’t care about kill counts or leaderboard flexes.
That’s never been my lane figuratively or literally.
What I do care about?
Keeping my people alive.
Whether it’s on the Rift or in real life, I’ve always been the one watching everyone’s back.
The one pinging danger before it hits.
The one silently buffering the chaos so others can play freely, boldly, recklessly knowing someone’s got them.
There’s a kind of pride in that.
In being the person who shows up with a shield instead of a sword.
In mastering timing, not glory.
In staying calm while the fight breaks loose not for recognition, but because someone has to.
You don’t get flashy montages for peeling.
No one posts highlight reels of well-timed heals or selfless saves.
But that’s okay.
Because I don’t do it for attention.
I do it for them.
For the ones who chase dreams without looking back.
For the ones who stumble and still keep going.
For the ones who forget they don’t have to fight alone.
I love keeping my friends alive.
Because life’s better when we make it through together.
And I’ll always be the one quietly pressing R to make sure you do.
